Bloggers #DreamTeam Linky 79 with myself, Bridie By The Sea & Rhyming With Wine

Welcome to this week’s bloggers #DreamTeam linky party, hosted by Bridget from Bridie By The Sea, Dawn from Rhyming With Wine and myself. We are so pleased to see you and hope that you are enjoying the Halloween festivities!

#DreamTeam Linky

The linky rules have changed ever so slightly, so please do ensure that you read through these carefully. If you are new to the linky, head over to our welcome page for more details and linky tips.

A note from your hosts:

We have a fab little community of #DreamTeam bloggers who make this linky so special, and a pleasure to run. Thanks everyone! *High fives, all the cake, and Halloween goodies (just not mine or it could be soggy bananas).

Over the last couple of weeks we think there’s been a bit of link dropping happening. This is when a blogger links their post without the #dreamteam badge or text link, and also doesn’t engage with any commenting at all. Whilst  we all know that there’s times when commenting is forgotten, link dropping is very different. Often seen as a deliberate attempt to quickly increase stats by taking advantage of a linky community.

If you are new, and doing this by mistake, please don’t worry. We would love you to message us and we can help you out on what’s expected. After all, we’ve all had our own first time linky boo-boos.

If you’re reading this as a link dropper.. please stop *we say politely.

Dreamteam bloggers are not required to comment on or retweet any posts that do not carry the #dreamteam badge/text link.

Thanks, DreamTeam hosts xxx

Five Little Doves – National Adoption Week 2017 – Our Story

This is an adoption story from one of Laura’s friends. It’s truly inspiring and something you will want to read especially if you are looking at this route. It’s so touching to see how selfless choices led to an extra special happy ending all round.

Did everyone get out and find a pumpkin patch this year? If you didn’t like us, then have a look at this stunning patch that Naomi visited in Peterborough. It’s gorgeous! That’s my inspiration sorted for next year.

Congratulations featured bloggers! Please feel free to grab your badge here. Anyone who has been a featured #DreamTeam blogger can use this badge in any of their linked up posts.

1. Add one post to the #DreamTeam linky, which goes live every Tuesday morning at 6am and will close on Thursday at 9pm.

2. Add the #DreamTeam linky badge or a text link to the bottom of your linked up post. If you are adding this to a side/bottom bar or linky page, please do ensure this is clear to avoid being missed out of commenting.

3. Share your post on twitter with the linky hashtag #DreamTeam. Tag in your hosts for retweets @3_LittleButtons  @BridieByTheSea @Rhymingwithwine.

4. Please comment on each of the hosts linked posts PLUS the post directly before your own (a total of 4 posts as a minimum). If the post before your own does not carry the #DreamTeam badge or text link, you are not required to leave a comment.

5. Optional. Get into the party spirit and tweet/add comments to any additional posts you have really enjoyed. Other bloggers are more likely to return the favour if you do! It’s a #winwin all round. As hosts, we will aim to retweet your posts again as we read them, as long as you have included your twitter handle in your sharing buttons.

*By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.

Just wanted to let you know that I’m declining to comment or share #3 because they have no badge or linky tag!

  2. October 31, 2017 / 6:09 am

I’m also not commenting on #5 because it also does not have a badge or linky tag.

(I’m not posting these comments to be rude, I’m just hoping if they are new bloggers in the linky game then they’ll know why I’m not commenting.)

  3. October 31, 2017 / 6:11 am

I’m skipping commenting on #7, no badge or linky tag that I can see.

    • October 31, 2017 / 6:13 am

#8 and #9 belong to the same blog, I’m skipping commenting on all of them.

  4. October 31, 2017 / 6:21 am

I’m skipping #11 and #12 – no linky badge and also multiple posting by same website.

  5. October 31, 2017 / 6:23 am

Skipping #13 because no linky badge and this person also posted a previous linky without a badge.

  6. October 31, 2017 / 6:32 am

#14 has no badge. #15 and #16 have no badge and are shared by the same blog. #17 has no badge.

I’m really hoping this is just neglect on the blogger’s part but you guys really should be following the few simple requests of the hosts who run these link ups.

  7. October 31, 2017 / 6:38 am

Wow. I’m amazed at just how many of these comments I’m leaving. To all the regular linkers to the #DreamTeam, let’s not send any extra traffic to these bloggers who are showing no consideration to the hosts or even to us who enjoy these weekly meetings. And to any new bloggers who I’ve called out in the comments section, I would love to read and share your posts if you truly made an error and forgot to put a badge. I’ve done it before myself when I join somewhere new!

  8. October 31, 2017 / 6:51 am

#18 has a whole list of links she joins with, I clicked the link she has to see her entire list and #DreamTeam was not listed. I’ve declined to comment or share that post.

#19 and #20 are the same blog with no linky badge on either post. There’s also a limit of one post to this linky!

    None of these have badges.

  9. October 31, 2017 / 6:54 am

#26 and #28 are badged up but I only commented and shared one of them since the maximum is one link per blog.

Once again, I’m not trying to be a rule bully but I’m hoping these are just accidental slip ups since our hosts work so hard on these linkys.

  10. October 31, 2017 / 6:57 am

#29 is the same person who posted #5 and #13 – none of these posts have a badge and the rule is one post per blog!

  11. October 31, 2017 / 6:59 am

#31 is the same blog as #18 – no linky badges and multiple postings.

    • October 31, 2017 / 7:00 am

#32 is the same person also. Come on guys, please read the rules!

  12. October 31, 2017 / 7:04 am

And they’ve only linked up once, as per the linky rules!

This is where the posts ended for me tonight.

  13. October 31, 2017 / 12:03 pm

    Thank you for hosting! #DreamTeam

  14. October 31, 2017 / 12:48 pm

Hello Annette, thank you for hosting. And thank you and Bridget and Dawn for letting me participate even though I have no badge. I’m a tech-challenged person who has a lot of trouble adding things! But I am very good about visiting lots of the bloggers–always more than the four required–and leaving good comments. And I always reciprocate to those who visit and comment on my link. I’ve always felt I bring value to the party even though I’m not strictly “by the rules.”

    • October 31, 2017 / 7:23 pm

Hi Jean, yes you do. And we appreciate your commenting. Our note is aimed at the many new linkers who are joining us with lots of posts and not participating at all. Xxx

  15. October 31, 2017 / 6:50 pm

Really sorry if I’m being daft, but I can only see 2 host posts…..don’t want to not be playing ball!!! 🙂
