Yay! It’s my birthday!!! *that’s why I am allowed to use an obscene amount of these !!!!* Well, just for today anyway. I have been lucky enough to be given money and vouchers for my birthday. Thank you everyone. So, onto the very important question of… what to buy a blogger for their birthday? Or in my case, what to spend your birthday money on! Woo-hoo.
Bloggers are busy people, and busy people need fuel. Whether you’re a tea or coffee drinker, this oh-so-cute Little Miss Blogger cup from truffleshuffle is going to hit the spot and keep you smiling.
No birthday is complete without cake. But how about a slice that just keeps giving… every week! Most bloggers will be familiar with trendy subscription boxes, and this is no exception. I have recently found a Cake Slice Club over at The Cake Nest. It’s a monthly cake slice subscription box which delivers a new exciting cake slice to your door every week. There are so many options to choose from, even Cake Slice Club for a whole year… now we‘re talking.
Anyone who’s caught the blogging bug will know how important a blog design can be. We are not just talking about the overall template; there is also the blog header to consider and all the extra little bits that make it oh-so-you! Helen over at Ellie Illustrates does some fantastic doodles that can give your blog a bit of a sparkle. At the moment I am dreaming of some new Blog Category Buttons.
When I think back to when I first started properly blogging in November 2015, it’s hard to believe how far the Button blog has actually come to date. In search for more notebooks (no blogger can have enough notebooks) I came across this lovely Weekly Reflections Journal from The Green Gables. It’s a stylishly simple journal where you can document your blog achievements and thoughts for the week.
I have recently found out that I have been nominated for the 2016 MADS blog awards for Outstanding Contribution for making the blog world a bit ‘smilier’! How lovely is that! OK, so it’s not something super serious, but it is super-wonderful! Having a journal like this would mean that I wouldn’t forget to record these lovely little achievements.
After all that blogging, working and balancing a family, I can’t think of anything more wonderful than taking a little break. Of course something that ticks all the boxes is hard to find. I am thinking along the lines of a break which has enough entertainment to keep Little Button occupied, as well as having something relaxing for me to enjoy too.
What do you think and which would you pick?
Disclosure: This is not a collaborative post, nor have I received any of these products to review. All views are my own. However, should any of these company’s like to send me a birthday present, please do! *Joking of course – #SorryNotSorry*
If you enjoy reading the Button blog, we would love your nomination for the best writer category
in the Mumsnet Blogging Awards 2016. Thank you xx
