Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Only a blogger was stirring, with their trusty old mouse.
The stockings were hung, and snapped with such care,
In hope that Instagram likes soon would be there.
Happy Christmas everyone! It’s almost time to get stuck into those mince pies and chocolate logs. Have you bought all your presents yet? If you have, cake for you. Now, I know its December, but somehow it escaped me HOW December it really is. So, in true good-enough style, I am now frantically blitzing the present lists and trying to come up with new ways of yelling… I mean whispering, that I need some hints on what to buy everyone.
If you have a blogger in your life, or if you are looking for clever ways to hint about what you might like for Christmas, this may help. Here is my ‘what to buy a blogger for Christmas’ list.
A bag like no other
Behold… the best bag on the planet for a blogger. *I know this, because I bought one for myself to celebrate our 1st blog birthday this November. Seriously though, I don’t know how I survived without this Mia Tui bag. My favourite blog posts are usually unplanned ones that just pop into my head and fall out of my fingers. But most bags are either too big or heavy to lug around with all my blogging bits, or way too small to fit anything but the absolute necessities into. This Olivia bag is super light, but somehow can hold everything, so I can catch those little pieces of blog magic before my words slip away.
The Super Planner
It’s all about THE planner isn’t it? Around this time of year, it’s one of those hot topics that we all discuss. To spend or not to spend, that is the question. You see, some of the must-have planners also come with a price tag that would make you wince and run for the hills. Surely paper should not cost that much. Fear not… because some of us have found a super planner.
So super is this planner by Stick to Stigu that not only can you schedule your blog, but also your family life in it too. It’s full of motivational quotes and tips, something that us bloggers love. And the price tag is a winner. Stick to Stigu have kindly sent me their 2017 planner to review, but I wanted to add it to this list in any case as after using the 2016 planner, I can’t recommend it enough.
A Visit From The Blog Fairy
I am talking about THE blog fairy. You know who I mean right? The epic doodler that is Helen from Ellie Illustrates. She can literally do anything to your blog design. Last Christmas, one of her gift vouchers fell into my stocking and with a flick of a wand, the 3 Little Buttons brand that I had carried around in my head was there, on my blog. It was all so amazing that I remember sobbing down the internet to Helen that our design couldn’t have been more perfect. Helen has a huge range of options that you can choose from, from full out design packages to little tweaks.
Everyone loves a beautiful print, especially a motivational one for the blogging office! I absolutely love Marnie Makes. Not only does she do these fab prints, but she also has matching notebooks and mugs too. There is something so whimsical about her designs, they could tell a thousand stories and I always feel so inspired after having a look through her esty store. I don’t have a print yet, but perhaps Santa will bring me one for Christmas!
I don’t think it will ever get sweeter than these special treats from the Biscuiteers. After a day of writing, there is something that EVERY blogger on the planet needs, and that is a super-cute tin of pretty biscuits to go with their cuppa, coffee or hot chocolate. *Whispers, obviously not to eat all in one go (pauses to consider this). ANYTHING from the Biscuiteers would be lovely Santa, because that’s the beauty of this place, you simply cannot go wrong.
What do you think? Is there something you would pick out for yourself?
Super important disclosure: All of these gorgeous things are either items that I already have and can fully recommend or things that I really want and am hoping that Mr Button will spot! This is not a collaborative post.
