I won’t lie. Today was the first time that I truly felt completely panicked and overwhelmed by what’s happening in the world at the moment. And even more specifically, of the frantic stockpiling of… well… EVERYTHING in the food shops! I’m sure if it hadn’t been for Mr Button carting us through the manic buying, that I’d still be stood in the middle of the supermarket completely lost, because the panic made me feel helpless. And it was frightening.
In truth, it’s still bubbling away under the surface. I didn’t even think I’d get as far as writing anything today. But then I came across some inspiring quotes that I think are too good not to share, especially right now. Here are 11 quotes to remember when you feel in a panic.
“Anxiety is a beast. You have to talk to beasts. Release them back into the wild. Easier said than done, I know. But good practice.” — Lena Headey
