Christmas treats – Tyrrells poshcorn review

It’s time to get a bit posh.

The lovely people at Tyrrells sent us a selection of their splendid poshcorn to try out after we encountered what could only be described as ground-up-popcorn in a posh bag!? – nothing to do with Tyrrells directly I might add.

We love Tyrrells crisps, so couldn’t wait to get our hands on these.

Packaged in eye catching sorbet colours these poshcorn bags scream ‘take me for a movie night’! I love the 1950’s tongue-in-cheek humorous graphics and pretty designs. We have already had a giggle over the sweet and salty bag, and can see these being a big hit with friends and family over the Christmas period.

The blue salty ones

These were very lightly seasoned with sea salt and are a good alternative to a bag of crisps at lunchtime in the office. I am not usually a fan of salty popcorn but these were great and had a more delicate taste than traditional cinema or own brand versions. If you are anything like me you will already be planning your Christmas movie and hot chocolate to accompany these moorish treats.

The pink sweet and salty ones

These are my absolute favourite flavour by far. Delicious, fluffy and utterly moorish. If I fancied something sweet – I would be reaching for these! In fact, as I am writing this I am wishing I had a bag to get stuck into right now. Tyrrells poshcorn is surprisingly low calorie at 119 a bag so if you are a urrmmmm… popcorn guzzler like me, you are in safe hands.

The yellow lemony ones

These unusual ‘Lemon cupcake’ ones were snaffled down by my mum. Thoughtfully she pondered that they were a bit different and perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, but certainly a bit of posh.

Tyrrells poshcorn is the stand out brand on the popcorn shelf for me. Not only because I love their pretty packaging, but because they taste great and you CAN eat them without thinking omg I really shouldn’t be eating these! Discover more flavours here.

I am a self-confessed popcorn guzzler! What type of popcorn eater are you?

*We received a selection box of poshcorn from Tyrells, though not for the purpose of this review. We have really enjoyed this product and I am happy to give my honest opinion. All views are my own.

Lovely review. I’m tempted to try these although I’m totally not a fan of salty popcorn. Sweet popcorn is more my thing. Love the packaging.
