KidloLand Nursery Rhymes App Review and Giveaway

If you are anything like me, you may struggle to happily hand over your phone or tablet to give your little one screen time. It’s funny don’t you think? Given that our little techie babies have been born into such advanced times. At the back of my mind I tend to wonder if another activity could be more educational or a better use of time. Then I saw KidloLand and realised that it was just because hadn’t found the right app for us until now. Here is our KidloLand Nursery Rhymes App Review and Giveaway, which will give you the chance to win one of three 3-months subscriptions to the app, so you can give it a try yourself.

KidloLand Nursery Rhymes App Review

KidloLand is a bright and colourful app aimed at children 5 years old and under, which is available to download to iOS or Android. It is packed full of interactive nursery rhymes, educational songs and games that can be easily found under one scrolling menu. Perfect for little independent fingers.

Something that makes this app a real stand out of me is that there are no ads. It is completely child-safe, so there isn’t that worry that they may click off into something that they shouldn’t.

Here is Little Button giving it a go.

Sing Along with KidloLand Nursery Rhymes And Songs

Apart from being visually bright and engaging, KidloLand has a huge collection of chirpy nursery rhymes and songs to dip in and out of. They are so incredibly catchy, and the added layer of touch-screen interaction is what really makes this special. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

Play KidloLand Games

We love the huge variety of games that the KidloLand app has ready for your little one to play at the touch of a button. Puzzles, dot-to-dots and fun ‘burst the bubbles’ style games are very entertaining, and have the whole family joining in. We found that the games were particularly good for getting Little Button engaged, whilst sitting still, so I could get on with the cooking without worrying about her scooting back and forwards across the kitchen.

Our overall Thoughts

It’s a big thumbs up from all of us. I particularly love how I am able to trust Little Button to pick and choose what activities she plays within the app without being a helicopter over her. This is largely because KidloLand have made sure that their app is child-safe.

The only thing I would mention is that you do have to wait for packs to download if you have yet to play them. The way round this is to go into the settings screen and pre download the content before giving it to your little ones to play with to avoid them getting frustrated.

What a fun looking app! I think depriving our children of screens completely isn’t such a good idea in this age of technology, but getting the balance right can be tricky. We’ve just had an afternoon completely free of screens (including mine!) and it was lovely and full of connection. But I’m sure we’ll be back to screentime again soon! #DreamTeam

This looks fab. I think in these times it’s good for little ones to use mobile devices as long as there’s balance and apps like these are good and educational. Thanks for linking up to #MarvMondays. Kaye xo
