NOW TV, perfect for parents

Have you heard of NOW TV?

Of course you have! It’s brilliant, and best of all, it works as if it’s been designed especially for us parents.

There’s no getting away from wanting to watch a bit of standard telly… like Eastenders, urrmmm I mean the news… obviously. But can you think of the last time you were able to actually sit down and watch something that you REALLY wanted to watch, all the way through without interruptions and dare I say from the beginning? No, neither can I.

Here is where NOW TV steps in to save the day. Hooraa!

The beauty of NOW TV is that it’s carefully put-together packages offer you exciting TV that you really do and will want to watch. Each package offers you the chance to view your choice on demand or via the live channels… and… wait for it… you can pause, rewind and fast forward what you are watching. If you happen to be in the middle of watching Jurassic World, like I was last night, but then have to stop and perhaps call it a day… when you go back to finish your movie (like I am going to tonight) it will be in exactly the place that you left off! *high fives for us.

Before you go running off to check it all out, there is more…

The choice really is on your side. You can add one package, two or all three and there is no contract. This means that you can cancel at any time, and you’re NOW TV will work as normal until the end of the time you have paid for. Then with a click of a button, it is that easy to get your groove on again and add a package at a time that is most convenient to you.

Sounds even better right? Here’s what to expect from each of the NOW TV packages.

NOW TV Sky Movies pass (£9.99)

This has got to be my favourite package. For just £9.99 a month (non-contract) you get 11 live channels and ALL the movies showing on demand. They are cleverly categorised so that it is easy to dip in and out of your preferred movie types. The ‘highlights’ area of NOW TV is great as you can view recently added movies and what’s hot right now. This panel is updated regularly and at the moment features a ‘Harry Potter’, ‘April Fools’ and ‘Family Favs’ themed collection at your fingertips. As like Sky movies (full contract TV), there are premiers every Friday, just in time for our movie-night in.

We are loving Jurassic World, San Andreas, Pixar’s Big Hero 6 and Inside out.

NOW TV Entertainment pass (£6.99)

Can I have two favourites? We love the entertainment package and as with the movie package you can watch live channels (13) and all TV shows on demand. This is slightly less at £6.99 a month (non-contract). Little Button is really into the NickJr selection and is enjoying Dora and Friends: Into the City, Paw Patrol and Team Umizoomi. As each show is clustered into seasons, it means that there are so many episodes to choose from, great for the little ones and also fab for grown-ups as hopefully you won’t have to watch the same episode on repeat too many times.

We are enjoying NickJr, Glee (the entire boxset! *tries not to mummy dance around the room, but just can’t help myself) and Ugly Betty. I should mention that I have just seen that the full works of Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and Revenge are now available. Need I say more!

NOW TV Sky Sports pass (various packages from £6.99 – £31.99)

This package is slightly different as you can opt for a day, week or monthly pass. You can watch live channels and on demand and it seems that this is the perfect package for sports fans judging from the frantic nodding I am getting from Mr Button. I have yet to test this package out, so I am going to get Mr Button to write a guest post on why he thinks NOW TV Sky Sports is the bees knees.

What Mr Button is watching… football.

Give it a try for free

If you are a new customer you can give NOW TV Movies a try for free for 14 days by clicking here. This will give you a chance to really test drive the packages and find out why they are so great. Enjoy!

My husband keeps on about NOW TV and how wonderful it would be for us, but I wasn’t really sure what it was all about until I read some blog posts. I do actually like the sound of it, we might give it a go! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested

We got NowTV a few months ago in the hope that we would replace our ridiculously expensive Sky package but we haven’t got much further than setting it up and watching YouTube videos through it?! I really need to sit down and see what shows are on there as we watch a lot of movies and kids tv 🙂

Wow congrats on your new blog squad! Now TV sounds really ideal for parents – I can never watch TV when it’s actually on, it’s all recorded & watched at some random time when the kids are in bed. I look forward to hearing more about your TV adventures. Thanks so much for joining us for #bloggerclubuk, hope you will be back again tomorrow! x
