Do you believe in fairies?
I do, I do, I do!
At the age of 5 or thereabouts I remember being utterly convinced that we had fairies at the bottom of our garden. I even went as far as roping in my best friend to go searching for them, which took us on many day-long excursions through leafy bushes and hedgerow. Getting swept away with our imaginations, we would solemnly confirm fairy sightings to our smiling mums. Always keen to keep us wrapped up in the magic of childhood for as long as possible, they played along and encouraged us to keep believing. Summer days were filled with daisy chains, magic wands and make-shift dens. We were never happier.
Just for Tiny People have a beautiful range of limited edition handmade wooden fairy doors and accessories to help you to weave magic into your little ones world… every day. They come in many colours with gorgeous authentic features that would appeal to any little believer. Little Button received a visit from the present fairy last week and was delighted when she found that she was the proud owner of a magical pink fairy door, complete with little wooden stepping stones.
On opening the fairy door package, she was mesmerised by the tiny front door key and sparkly bottle of fairy dust. She searched high and low for the perfect place for her fairy’s home and in the end settled for a spot near the end of her bed.
Fitting your new Just for Tiny People fairy door is super easy. Carefully remove your door from its backing and then using tiny glue dots, secure it to your chosen place. It doesn’t have to be a skirting board… you could consider attaching it to a big door, cupboard or even snuggled between books on a bookshelf. Little Button excitedly laid the wooden stepping stone pathway herself and sat back to marvel at her hidden fairy house.
Shhhh! Just for big people’s ears… the idea behind having a fairy door is that your little one can invite a fairy to ‘move in’ by sprinkling their fairy door key with magic fairy dust before they go to bed. When they wake up in the morning, if the key has vanished, then their own little fairy has moved in! This opens up endless possibilities for make-believe play and adventures.
Once everything was ready, Little Button thought long and hard about what her fairy would be called and what she would be like. I couldn’t help myself and got carried away in the nostalgic moment, day dreaming too about where her little fairy would be travelling from and wondering what her favourite colour would be (pink… obviously!).
We were having such a wonderful time that we lost track of bedtime, and a yawning Little Button eventually declared her fairy’s name… Tutti Fruiti. Placing the key on the first stepping stone, Little Button sprinkled her fairy door key with magic fairy dust, welcomed Tutti Fruiti to her new home and then jumped into bed, hopeful that she would now be on her way.
In the morning the key had vanished! We listened closely at the door and we were sure that we heard not one… but two fairies tinkering and giggling in their beautiful new Just for Tiny People fairy house.

What a lovely little thing. There are so many companies that offer these doors they have to come up with something that makes theirs stand out. I think the little stepping stones and the magical concept are brilliant touches.
I absolutely love fairies! I collect little fairy ornaments, great review. #DreamTeam Thanks for hosting!
that is so sweet, I have seen these before but this one is the cutest I’ve seen. #dreamteam
These look great
We had a fairy door at Christmas but I think my daughter was a bit too young to really get it. Her imagination has kicked in now so it may be a good time to revisit and distract her from her new found fears
