Every now and again something magical happens and you can barely believe it. You ask everyone to pinch you, and it really doesn’t help because it can’t possibly be true. But somehow…. it is!
I’m so proud to shout-out that our debut children’s picture book ‘Wild’ by Dawn (from the former Rhyming with Rhyme blog) and myself, illustrated by Ryan Sonderegger is out next month on the 22nd April 2021 – published by Owlet Press.

Our book! Ekk!!! It’s really real.
Wild is about two lovely little wolves, Wolfie and Wilfie, who are teased by a wickedly wild, growly and scowly wolf pack, simply because they don’t fit in. But, as the naughty wolf pack is about to pounce on Granny’s basket of pies, they bravely find the courage and kindness to come to her rescue.
It’s a little bit thrilling, a whole heap WILD, with giggles to be found in all the right places.
Dawn and myself are so, so, SO grateful to have had the opportunity to work on Wild with publishers Owlet Press, who are racing ahead and lighting up our children’s bookshelves with so many feel good titles that empower and encourage positive change.
With Wild, we’ve been able to touch on that horrible gut-wrenching feeling of being pressured to behave in a certain way to fit in with ‘the pack’. It’s something that most of us have unfortunately felt at some point, even as adults. But, we hope that Wolfie and Wilfie can help to give little ones an extra boost of confidence to do the right thing and stick to being themselves, because they are absolutely good enough, just as they are!
