8 free and instant Christmas gift ideas to give to your #blogger pals

December 22, 2017

Christmas is here! *Cheers – excitedly grabs nearest bottle of sparkle. Is everyone ready?

If you are a blogger from ermm… blogland, then you will know that the bestest gift that anyone can give you is their presence (rather than presents). Or more specifically their engagement on your blog and social media.

As it’s the season of giving here are 8 free and instant Christmas gift ideas to give to your #blogger pals. And you don’t even need a postage stamp for them.

8 free and instant Christmas gift ideas to give to your #blogger pals

Treat them, Tweet them

Make like a Christmas Robin and retweet some of their twitterings. If you know your blogging bestie has been working their butt off on a campaign, give them a helping hand to get it out, far and wide. Don’t forget to click the link to make it count 😉

Leave your mark

Hop on over to their latest blog post and leave them a thoughtful comment.Simple, effective and lasting.

The gift of conversation

Jump on the bandwagon and join in with the Twitter or Facebook conversation. You need a bit of time for this one, but your blog bestie will love your interaction, especially if they are hosting a chat.

Tag a friend

You know those Facebook posts where your blog pals may say ‘Does anyone else do this?’, be a bud and tag yourself and a friend in. It’s always a giggle and will give their blog page a bit of a boost.

Show some Insta-love

Throw some hearts their way over on Instagram. It only takes a few seconds and a little love goes a long way.

Give them a shout out on your blog

DA, DA! The score that is… but props to you if you just sang DA DA (like Ta Da!) LOL. Anyway, apart from showing a bestie that you care, by leaving a link from your blog to theirs, you will help to improve their DA score. Oh, and help other bloggers to find them too! #AlwaysWinning

Sharing is caring

Can this one ever be overdone? Never! Pop over to your pals blog and find a few of your favourite blog posts that they have done. Now click those sharing buttons and let your fingers do the talking (across as many platforms as you dare).

The gift that keeps tweeting

Possibly the most fiddly to set up, but I do this for our featured #DreamTeam bloggers and it works a treat. Find a few of your blog besties top posts and schedule some tweets for them over a few days (weeks?!) or so. They will get some extra reach AND it will keep your twitter account buzzing with exciting content.
