DIY Valentine’s Day heart decorations for the tiddlers

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

We knew it was coming but somehow it still snuck up on us. In the Button house a happy day is one filled with small delights. Forgot romantic dinners, candles and soft wafting music… the reality is that we know if we can keep Little Button entertained with the little things, that actually, we will not only get to join in with the fun, but also grab a bit of time to ourselves whilst she is a busy bee.

OK… so that time to ourselves is likely to involve cooking, cleaning and discussing our latest projects… but the point is, we will get that precious time.

To start off the day we plumbed for these super easy heart decorations.

You will need:
Any coloured card
Mini Pom-pom (but any stuff for sticking will do)
A ribbon or string for hanging
Glue

I pre-cut some heart shapes out of the card and then put out all the bits and bobs for the activity. After explaining how to make the decorations…off she went. Fabulous!
