Kitchen Christmas gift ideas

December 5, 2020

Now that our kitchen is almost finished, I have to say that the idea of a kitchen Christmas gift fills me with glee. Especially as we have the space now. There is so much out there that can make your life a whole lot easier if you’re the chief in your house! We’ve got some fab ones ourselves that I’d like to share with you, and also some lovely ideas that have gone on my own Christmas wish list. Here are our top Kitchen Christmas gift ideas.

Crock pot slow and multi cooker

THIS is amazing. It was gifted to us as a Christmas present and it’s been used so much and in so many different ways since. From making traditional slow cooker casseroles, the sweetest of fudges, to the most beautiful roasted garlic baby potatoes. It’s so versatile thanks to its multiple settings of being able to slow cook, roast, steam, bake and sauté. It’s a bit of a Jack of all trades – but does everything so well.

From £99.89 from Amazon.

Cookbook stand

I never knew I needed one of these until we got one! It’s perfect for keeping sticky mitts off your cookbooks, and I have to say, it adds a lovely homely feel to the kitchen. There are lots of different ones out there, and as ours was a gift, I’m not sure exactly where it came from.

Silicone mats

Since getting our new twinkly worktops in, I’ve been super careful about putting hot things down on it. These cute silicone mats are perfect at taking the heat, and the best bit is that they are so easy to stow away. They come in all sorts of colours too.

From £7.99 from Amazon.

Yogurt maker

I would never have believed that I would want a yogurt maker, until I was gifted one to try out. It’s fun, easy and to an extent, better for the environment as there is less waste. We’ve been trying out the EasiYo yoghurt maker that helps you to make fresh yogurt. Delicious!

From £16.75 from EasiYo UK.

KitchenAid mixer – Artisan

This thing of beauty has a massive price tag attached to it, so perhaps a joint family pressie to yourselves? Well, I can dream, can’t I. Isn’t it stunning. Not only is this mixer gorgeous, but the little elves have told me that it’s a super piece of reliable kitchen help. And, with so many attachments you really cannot go wrong.

Prices from £499.00 directly from KitchenAid.

Kitchen weighing scales

Every kitchen should have one, but they don’t have to look like the old secondary school home economics ones. This slick Joseph Joseph weighing scales can be converted from a flat surface to a bowl. Perfect!

Prices from £49.99 from Amazon.

Ravioli stamps

Pasta lovers will adore a set of ravioli stamps, especially the ones with the little wooden handles – don’t they look cute!  Hart of Stur have a lovely collection available from £6.00. Top tip – you could get creative and create your own little hamper kit of everything you need to make ravioli.

Fondue set

I may just be showing my age a bit with this, but how amazing would it be to receive one of these beauties! I think they still are a fab way of getting everyone round the table chattering and enjoying each other’s company. This 6 person fondue set bring back all those warm, cheesy memories!

Prices from £64.95 from Hart of Stur.

Pizza oven

Need, want, need, want. I really can’t decide. But wouldn’t a pizza oven be the best thing ever. Yes, it’s not technically for your ‘inside’ kitchen, and it will possibly break the bank. Maybe I should start saving up?

Prices from £249.00 from Ooni.

Measuring cups

There are a lot of delicious recipes that ask for the measurements in cups. These little set of measuring cups from John Lewis for £10.00 would make such a sweet gift for friends and family. Not only do they look oh so cute, but you can also get matching bits and bobs to go with them too.

Measuring spoons

For the serious baker who won’t stand for guessed measurements, how about a set of pretty measuring spoons. These Oliver Bonas ones for £26.00 are held together by a little keyring. They look so adorable. I hope Santa brings me a set!
