It’s officially the Easter holidays! Yay!! Have you got anything planned yet?
Whether you’re a stone throw away from London, in it like us, or planning a trip here, there is always so much to do. I’ve been making a list of some fab things happening over the coming weeks, as I never know where to start. Here’s our top picks of things to do in London this Easter with kids 2022.
Easter Lindt GOLD BUNNY HUNT at Hampton Court Palace
Hop over to Hampton Court Palace for the ultimate Lindt GOLD BUNNY HUNT between the 2nd to the 18th April 2022. The trail takes about 1 hour 30 mins and is included as part of the main admission price.
Horrible Histories Terrible Thames boat tour
If you have little ones that love a bit of history, you really won’t want to miss this! Climb aboard for a terrifically terrible boat tour of the Thames. The Horrible Histories boat tour cast will have you gripped with gruesome stories about King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, Julius Caesar, the Duke of Wellington, Queen Boudicca, Jack the Ripper and Captain Kidd! Booking for 2022 *This is Little Buttons top pick for the holidays.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Enchanted Trail at Kew Gardens
Unwind, recharge and enjoy an enchanted trail following The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s journey to becoming a beautiful butterfly. The trail will take place from the 2nd to the 18th April 2022 and is included as part of the main admission price.
WWT Wetlands Centre Easter Duck Trail
Fancy something a little bit different? Then how about a quack-tastic duck trail where little ones will need to crack clues to help them on their way! And once that’s done, how about a bit of pond dipping for good measure! The trail will run from the 2nd to the 18th April 2022 and activities are included in the main admission price.
There’s a beautiful Beatrix Potter exhibition taking place at the V&A which is family friendly and a lovely one for everyone to enjoy. There is an exhibition charge for this, however, we are VERY excited by the free pop up performance: Tales from the Forest with storyteller Wendy Shearer who we met at the Children’s Imagine Festival at London South Bank.

Capel Manor Gardens Easter Egg-stravaganzer
We love Capel Manor Gardens. Apart from being so pretty, there is a huge amount of space for little ones to really blow off steam and well… be little. Add in a giant Easter egg trail, meet the Easter bunny, storytelling, crafts, face painting, bouncy castle and treats…. well, it’s got to be a winner right?! The event takes place between the 15th and 17th April, and pre booking is recommended as it’s so popular.
National Trust Osterley Park and House Easter Egg hunt
Osterley Park was somewhere we used to visit every weekend when I was little to feed the ducks and have a good run about. It’s a gorgeous National Trust park to smooch about in, and between the 14th and 18th April 2002 there is a little Easter trail with nature activities for the whole family to join in with. £3 per child.
English Heritage Easter Adventure Quest at Kenwood
Perfect for little adventures, Kenwood is hosting a fun Easter quest which involves hunting for clues, taking part in challenges and discovering traditional Easter games. The quest will take place between the 15th and 18th April and costs £1.50.
ZSL London Zoo – Dear Zoo Experience
Something special is happening at London Zoo this Easter! To celebrate 40 years of the classic picture book ‘Dear Zoo’ by Rod Campbell, there will be a special interactive activity trail with story-time sessions. Celebrations will take place from the 2nd to the 18th April and are included in the main admission price.

Tottenham Hotspurs Easter movie mornings, Stadium Tour with Easter egg hunt and Dare Skywalk

Tottenham Hotspurs are hosting a brilliant set of Easter goodies between the 2nd and the 18th April. Included in the Tottenham experience will be live music, face painting, guest appearances from Lily & Chirpy and of course the main events of the movie mornings, stadium tours with Easter egg hunt and Dare Skywalk.
