Bliss London Little Lights walk November 2018

November 2, 2018

This November families from all over London will be joining Bliss for an extra special sponsored walk. A lantern lit walk, that will light up the night for premature and sick babies this World Prematurity Day. It will also celebrate the hope, strength and courage of brave families, no matter where they are in their journey, as well as raising awareness that parents are not alone when faced with difficult circumstances.

The walk itself is family friendly (2km) – perfect for little legs – and will follow a scenic route around Tower Bridge on a Saturday afternoon, starting with a moment to remember the babies that couldn’t be with us today, and finishing with a well deserved hot chocolate reception. And of course the opportunity to meet and chat with other parents.

Bliss are hoping to raise £25,000 to enable them to continue their vital work to give premature and sick babies the best start in life possible. Here is how funds raised will be used.

“The money you raise will support our ambition to reach every baby needing neonatal care by 2019.  We provide families with emotional and practical support as well as working with health professionals to ensure neo-natal care is of the highest standard.  We also campaign for change to ensure high quality care is available and support £10.1million of research to help improve the care and treatment of premature or sick babies.  Your donation will help us continue with this vital work.” – Bliss
