Happy Book Birthday Me, in the Middle by Annette Demetriou and illustrated by Angela Mayers (Owlet Press)

I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but….. Happy Book Birthday to Me, in the Middle! Woohoo.  

Me, in the Middle is published by Owlet Press, illustrated by Angela Mayers and written by me! It’s out now, and available to buy from good bookstores, including Owlet Press, Waterstones, WHSmiths, Book Love, Babipur and Amazon.

It’s publication date was actually on Tuesday the 1st March (Shrove Tuesday aka pancake day), but this week has been such a lovely blur that I’ve only just managed to squeeze in this post. 

It’s SO hard to believe that my debut children’s book WILD – co written with Dawn White, illustrated by Ryan Sonderegger and also published by Owlet Press was out almost this time last year!!! It makes my eyes pop at how quickly production went for Me, in the Middle. And, of course I’m incredibly grateful and humbled that Owlet Press had me back for book number two already.

To celebrate and mark the occasion I did my first ever Instagram Live interview with Owlet Press to talk about Me, in the Middle. I can’t tell you how nervous I was, especially as the book is loosely based on a real event, and my own experiences growing up. My legs were shaking under the table!!! I hope you can’t tell?!
