Did you know that BABY Born has recently turned 25 years old! Hands up who remembers the first dolly? It’s amazing how time flies. Many toys come and go, but some just keep getting better and better. BABY born is definitely one of them. We were super excited to find out that Little Button shares BABY Born’s birthday. And to mark the occasion, she was delighted to receive a special edition Happy Birthday BABY Born doll. Thank you Zapf Creation.
Little Button LOVES dollies. They are her number one thing to play with. From simple everyday make-believe games such as eating, getting dressed and going to bed, to the more complex special dolly outings to the park, it’s all go here. She really is quite a dolly connoisseur.
When BABY born arrived, Little Button was completely smitten. She’s quite a hard judge to please when it comes to dolls, but I am very pleased to tell you that this BABY Born doll passed with flying colours.
This particular Happy Birthday BABY Born doll is extra special as she comes dressed for her party in a beautiful pink outfit, complete with pretty ballerina shoes. She even comes with a pretty birthday crown. There is so much attention to detail, which makes her a real stand-out choice of dolly for everyday play, aimed at little one ages 3 years old and upwards.
We were very impressed by the amount and quality of accessories that came with Happy Birthday BABY Born. She really is quite the birthday princess, and comes ready to host her party with a lovely picnic set of party plates, cutlery and cups. Little Button has had lots of fun with these. Inviting her other dollies to the party, and settling everyone down to tuck into some imaginary birthday cake is one of her favourite games.
According to Little Button, BABY Born is the best dolly ever because she does wee-wee’s and poo-poo’s. Yes. I am not joking. She really does.
That glint in her eye when she first saw this dolly in its packaging was her actually eyeing up the potty, bottle, bowl and spoon and of course the all-important nappy! All dollies are interactive in one way or another, but Happy Birthday BABY Born tops this by being a doll that drinks and eats, then wets and poos in her nappy or on-demand on the potty. Grown-ups will love her little belly button, which is actually a real button to release the business all in one go.
As part of the set, this doll comes with a sachet of special dolly food for the purposes of feeding. We have found that most toy shops that stock BABY born will also have boxes of the food and little nappies too to help your little one fully enjoy the interactive BABY born experience.
Well, what’s not to love about Happy Birthday BABY Born. Little Button adores her new dolly, and is thrilled that they share the same birthday. There is so much play value to be had, and of course the interactive elements of being able to feed and wet is the icing on the cake. A big thumbs up from Little Button.

Holly would love this. She is baby obsessed at the moment. Having 2 girls I thought I had everything they would need, but it seems I need 2 of everything. One for Holly’s Christmas list. X#bloggerclubuk
I love all the bits to go with her, what a lovely present she makes #MarvMondays
It looks like a great doll – the wees and poos would impress any little girl! My daughter is still too young to really play with dolls yet, but I’m sure she’d like something like this once she gets older. #DreamTeam
What a lovely gift. I don’t really remember baby born as I probably was too old for it first time round. I also wasn’t massively into dolls.

25? No way!! My girls are very much in the Baby Annabel camp, they’ve never bothered with Baby Born, although they are made by the same people I think? I love seeing them play with their dolls though, it gives me an insight to the kind of mothers they will be – Eva, gentle and loving and Megan, swinging it around by its leg!! #dreamteam
What a fab gift! I love my dolly too but never had a Baby Born, couldn’t really afford it. Happy 25th birthday! #DreamTeam xx
Miss Tot really isn’t into dolls at all but I wish she was – especially seeing how incredible some of these dolls are now. I would have loved this when I was little – actual baby food and nappies for a doll blows my mind. It’s lovely to see Little Button having so much fun. x #DreamTeam
