3 Things About Me And The Mystery Blogger Award

March 9, 2018

Mystery Blogger Award

Thanks for nominating me for the Mystery Blogger Award The Dad Effect. You rock!

I love getting involved in blogger awards like this. The idea behind them is to share a little love and nominate your favourite bloggers for a particular thing. They are informal and loads of fun to join in with.

3 Things About Me

-I love blogging more than chocolate.

-My happy place is sitting on the decking of Millie’s Beach Huts with the Buttons family (probably eating fish and chips), rosy cheeked and totally beach faced, after a day of building sandcastles.

-I’m completely honoured to be the BritMums Happiness Round-up editor! Something that I could never have dreamt of happening.

My favourite post: Happiness Is A Beach Hut Called Rosie Posie

What I was asked

What is your best piece of life advice?

Definitely to not take yourself too seriously and to just go for it! Life’s too short to keep your talents hidden from the world.

What is more important, friends or family? Why?

That’s a hard one, because family could be distant and your bestie could be your family. Can I say both can be as important as the other? It just depends on your circumstances I think.

What is the closest you have ever come to dying?

There was an OMG moment just after Little Button was born. But the amazing surgery team pulled things back in seconds.

Other than the present, what other historical period would you live in if you had to choose?

I love the Victorian era, but that’s with me looking through rose-tinted, movie watching glasses. It was tough back then being a woman, no matter what your position in society.

Did man really land on the moon?

Errrmmm doh. Of course. That wasn’t a pretend cheese moon in the background… was it??

The New Nominees

ALL of the #DreamTeam bloggers +

My questions

-What’s the one thing you would love to achieve in blogging that would make you think… yup, here I am. I’ve made it!

-What was your nearly blog name?

-If you could go back in time and give your newbie blogger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

-What was the last blog (other than your own) that you read?

-You’re stranded on a dessert island with your blogging besties! Empty out all your pockets and tell us what you’ve got to survive the day with?

The Rules

*You don’t have to be nominated to join in, so if you fancy it, give it a go!
