I can’t believe that the holidays are over already, can you? I say holidays, but I really mean the school ones. It’s been so busy for us at work (and it still is) that I hardly feel like I’ve stopped at all. *Summer blur is an understatement!
So, I’ve decided to give a ‘five fab things’ type of post a go. I’m not sure how it’s going to turn out. But, I’m aiming to write something every week. Mainly, so I can look back and remember the little things. Because they flash past so fast these days.
If you’d like to give it a go with me, you’re more than welcome. And of course, please do link up your post on #MischiefAndMemories so I can give it a read. Here are my five fab things this week.
YAY *cheers every parent in the land. But really, I’m just so happy for not just mine, but everyone’s littles being able to get back to school (almost) like normal. Seeing their friends, learning new things, and even being able to go back to fun school clubs. Woohoo!

Today we had the most joy filled movie afternoon watching the new Cinderella, staring Camila Cabello on PRIME video. We sang along to all the catchy songs, laughed till we cried, laughed some more and in between breaks text friends ‘you MUST watch this movie!!!!!!!’.
Storm In A Jar is one of those picture books that pulls on the heart strings, in all the right ways. It’s written by Samuel Langley-Swain and published by Owlet Press (who WILD is also published with). I’ll tell you a bit more about it later in the week.
I’ve been letting my hair dry naturally, which has made such a difference to how healthy it is. BUT, it also leaves me looking like a frizz ball. I’ve never understood how to look after my funny curly swirly hair!?! The longer it gets, the worse it seems to be, so I’ve had a bit of a chop. I love it! *she says now, but at present it’s in a sleek, dead straight, blow dried state. We’ll see if I’m saying the same thing tomorrow morning haha!
My mum and dad (aka Nanny and Grandad Button) are finally in their new house at the seaside this week. I can’t tell you HOW EXCITED we all are.
And there it is… my five fab things from this week. Just a little snippet of joy to add to a new collection to grow.
Thanks for reading x
