Five Fab Things – 11th September 2021

Hello! I’m back again with my latest five fab things post. 

Today I’m squinting through goggle-eyes. Ekk! Not that I’ve been out on the town, but rather the not so little one has been SO full of beans and life in general. So much so that she’s been waking up at 3am EVERY SINGLE DAY, raring to go. *Crumbs (and also cries just a bit). I’m holding my eyelids open and propping my eye bags up. 

Has anyone else had this?? I can’t tell if it’s just a bit of sleep regression or an excited burst of energy now that school is back, and so many exciting things are happening.

We’ve had a birthday!

Happy Birthday Little Button. I can’t believe you are 9 years old already. Where did all that time go?

And… another birthday!

A brilliant peek a boo squirrel/chipmunk dog toy

We found this on Amazon for Alfie’s birthday! And… he loves it. It’s a super soft tree trunk with 6 squeaky little squirrels (or are they chipmunks?) that can be pulled in and out from the holes down the trunk. He can be a little bit rough when playing with toys, but so far, so good with this one! It’s holding its shape and nothing has ripped yet. #winning

A fabulous little mermaid

Little Button made this mermaid at school, very simply using a pre-cut scratch to colour shape and some feathers for decoration. I love how the light catches it in the evenings.
