Can you believe it’s November already?! *Hooray… shouts the mum that LOVES the lead up to Christmas, but not the pooey leaves that seem to come with Autumn.
It’s that time of year when London starts looking like Santa’s grotto and finally… it’s boot weather!
This year I’ve had a bit of an extra extended break from the blog over the summer period. As always, work and fun has filled me up to my eyeballs. And, I know I should have been back sooner, but the extra breather has given me more time to come back to the blog with a spring in my step.
The little one has been keeping me on my toes, and we’ve been having a blast visiting new places, watching new shows and even taking up a new sport too.
Although I’ve not been doing much *any blog writing #sorry, I’ve been stretching my creative side and working on a whole heap of new picture book story ideas. At the moment… *can I admit this…I’m dreaming of horse’s day and night! My protagonist has somehow leapt off the page and seems to be everywhere. Which apparently is a good thing!
The Golden Egg club – for children’s writers, is, as always, amazing, and so inspiring. If you are writing or looking to write for children, do check them out. Let me know if you become a fellow egg too.
Finally, a few of our #DreamTeam blogger pals have been asking when the linky is back. It’s something that I’m working on, and I’ll get a blog post out confirming it’s start date as soon as I can.
It feels great to be catching up in this Hello November post.
Thanks so much for reading!
