This coming Tuesday, grab your craziest pairs of socks. Mix them up! And get creative for this years Odd Socks Day! It’s going to be fun, expressive and the perfect day to bring ALL your awesome individuality wherever your feet may take you.
Odd Socks Day is definitely about having FUN. But there’s an important message behind the campaign too. To actively encourage children to be kind, accepting of others differences and most importantly, to be themselves.
The campaign, which is in support of Anti Bullying week hopes to continue to raise awareness of bullying. Last year over 11,000 schools took part and a poll undertaken by the Anti-Bullying Alliance charity revealed 68% of children agreed the campaign helps reduce bullying!
Let’s get people talking and remembering that -‘change starts with us’.
It’s easy. Just pop on a pair of odd socks and wear them with pride on Tuesday 12th November.
We’ll be showing off our odd socks on Twitter using hashtag #ODDSOCKS. Pop over and say hello and join in with the conversation. For further information, a pack and competition details visit the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
This is such a great idea. I hope lots of people join in.
