Over half term week we had a huge break through with Little Button. She wrote her very first creative writing story. I say it’s a huge break through, because she’s in reception class and at 5 years old that’s a pretty huge accomplishment. She practically filled an A4 page with her story about Lucy the caterpillar, her take on the life cycle of a butterfly. It did contain lots of “and then’s” and there was help with spelling some tricky words. But, she did it. And I couldn’t be prouder! I just wish I’d taken a photo of what she had achieved.
Before her pencil hit the paper, there were moments where she felt like she wouldn’t be able to do. But with a little bit of encouragement (and the wise words of Winnie The Pooh) once she had that ‘can do’ attitude motivating her, off she went.
🤩 So proud of my clever little button for handing in her first ever creative writing story as part of her reception class home learning project for school! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” Winnie The Pooh ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ #proudmum #happylittlebuttons #myfamilyadventures #letthembelittle #curiouslittleexplorers #rememberingthesedays #myhappycapture #littlefierceones #Ukparentbloggers

Here are a few of my favourite quotes to inspire a can do attitude. They will have you fired up and raring to go before you know it.
