Spring is finally here and we love bringing a bit of the outside in. But, you don’t always have to use fresh or dried flowers to add a beautiful spring pop of colour to your home.
These cute as a button, super easy egg box daffodils look so pretty. And, as they are quick and easy to make, they are such a rewarding craft to do with your little ones.
This will make 2 pots of super easy egg box daffodils.
You will need (things you probably already have* yass!!):
Step 1
Carefully cut off the lid of your egg box and put away for another craft. The bit you need is the side that your eggs sat in. Next, cut out each ‘egg pocket’. These will form the daffodil heads. You will need 6 pieces.

Step 2
Generously paint your daffodil heads yellow, and pop to one side to dry. They do dry quite brightly, so we only did one coat of paint. If your lolly sticks for the stems are not pre coloured green, paint these green now and leave to dry.

Step 3
Next, paint your 2 empty toilet rolls however you like. These will form the daffodil pots, so now’s the time to get creative! Pop to one side to dry.

Step 4
Tear a little piece of orange tissue paper to form the inner petals of your daffodils. Using glue or sticky pads, stick the orange tissue into the middle of your (dry) daffodil heads.

Step 5 (nearly done!)
Attach a green lolly stick to the back of each daffodil head using glue or sticky pads.

Step 6
Arrange your pretty egg box daffodils in their pot. We found that 3 per pot worked very nicely.

Tah-dah! How easy and cute are these? And, they last for ages, unlike the real thing, so make a lovely spring gift idea.

These are great #mischiefandmemories@_karendennis
