5 Reasons Why Busy Parents need A BloomBox Club Subscription

June 10, 2017

We love being outdoors. I can’t think of anything better than getting home after a long day at work and popping out into the garden for a bit of relaxation. It’s the perfect place to unwind on summer days as Little Button potters about playing gardening. The only problem is that our London garden has become a bit neglected. We just don’t have the time to go searching for plants to fill it anymore. Well, problem solved at last! Because BloomBox Club have got it covered for all us busy parents. Hooraa!

BloomBox Club

What is the BloomBox Club?

It’s a super cool plant subscription service which brings you beautiful blooms right to your front door each quarter. I know right! What a fab idea. Who wants to spend precious time traipsing round the garden centre when you could be out and about visiting the sights, on the beach or just kicking back in your own garden! Thank you BloomBox Club.

5 Reasons Why Busy Parents Need A BloomBox Club Subscription

We couldn’t wait to give BloomBox Club a try. Especially as we are just on the verge of giving our little London garden a makeover. Although our garden isn’t huge, we have quite big flower beds (waiting to be filled) so we opted to try out the large outdoor plants box subscription. There are plenty of different options to suit your needs if you have a smaller space, and even an indoor plants box, which looks very impressive. Here’s how we got on.

1 Special Delivery

Everyone loves getting a surprise in the post, don’t they? From an unexpected letter to a cake in a tin. But what about a delivery of plants! Now that’s what I call exciting. You wouldn’t believe how long this has entertained Little Button for. #WinWin.

2 Quality Plants For Your Space

It can be a bit tricky finding good quality plants. Ones that have been sat outside in their pots for a long time can be a bit dry, burnt and wilted. There’s an element of fun bringing a plant back to life, but, when you buy them for the garden, you do expect them to be healthy, don’t you. BloomBox Club delivers top quality, healthy plants that arrive ready to be planted. Your little one will be thrilled to be able to get started right away.

4 BloomBox Club Is So Convenient And Time Saving

As busy working parents we don’t have lots of time on our hands. We tend to shop online and indulge in subscription services as ongoing treats. It helps save time for the important things, like spending quality time together as a family. Having tried out this subscription, I can say with certainty that it saved us buckets of time. And, not only did it keep the whole family entertained, but it also got us working together (planting and watering) and thinking more about how we want to enjoy our garden.

5 A Gift That Keeps Giving

“Flowers feed the soul and green space lets it breathe”. There’s something so magical about watching something grow and flourish. It’s good for us. Long after receiving these sweet smelling treats from BloomBox Club, we are still enjoying them every day.

What a fab idea! I love my garden & I have to say I love strolling round the garden centres, I always end up buying way more than I went in for! I’d say one of my favourite ways to spend a weekend is buying plants and doing the garden – but I just don’t get to do it very often. The reality is, a whole weekend in the garden never happens – the odd hour here or there to clear weeds is all I can manage at the moment – this is such a fab ide for those of us who love gardening but are time strapped! I’ll definitely be looking into this!

Wow this is a really good idea. It’s always bothered me in London the lack of green space and areas to plant in, and I would have loved to use a service like this. As it happens, we are moving to Wiltshire next month so green space won’t be a problem anymore. Having said that, I don’t drive, so may well utilise this for getting all my plants in!! #DreamTeam

  7. This is such a great idea. We only have a yard but I would love to pretty it up with more plants or bring the garden inside and have plants around the house. I’m terrib,e at keeping things alive though so the handy guide would good for me!
