It’s February! That funny month when it’s not uncommon to be wading knee deep through heart shaped balloons, bunches of flowers and choccy boxes every time you nip out for a pint of milk.
Valentine’s Day is on the way!

37 swoon-worthy romantic movies to watch this February
In no particular order apart from the first movie.
I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely in the mood for a slushy movie now! *Runs to press play!
Oh my! I love so many of these films. I’m thinking one of these could make for a good movie on valentines.
#DreamTeam
Do you know I think I’ve only ever watched about a quarter of these, much catching up to do! #DreamTeam
Better not show this to my wife – especially when I’m trying to keep her awake for Ozark on Netflix as it is!!
#DreamTeam
Love a good romantic movie #dreamteam
I love mushy movies. Going to have to convince hubby, though! 🙂
I love so many of the films you mentioned. I might just have to write these down and start checking them off the list. Leap year might be my favorite though. I can’t resist an Irish accent. 🙂 #DreamTeam
Excellent list to get you in the mood for love X #dreamteam
I’m not into those sorts of movies but I do think Red is really romantic. (When he’s on the phone with her in the beginning).
Oh thanks for sharing Annette, might work myself through some of that list 🙂 #dreamteam
Great list and sadly have not seen most of them but you brought back some fond memories along the way of film-watching rather than romance sadly. Glad to see Jane Austen in the mix and oh for those days of manners and in some ways women only having to do embroidery, sing and play rather than juggle just about everything #DreamTeam
Great list, I’m a sucker for a romantic movie so have seen a lot of these! My favourite to come back to time and time again is Dirty Dancing.
Great list and a couple of my favourites on there. I have always loved Grease and when in my teens could be found watching it most afternoons after my a level revision in the easter holidays!!
I have to admit, I haven’t heard of half of these. Can’t stand Love Actually, and stopped watching The Notebook about half way in, but I love Dirty Dancing and have a soft spot for Sweet Home Alabama. And good to see Jane Austen in the top spot – you can always win me over with her!
I think my favorites are Ghost and Dirty Dancing and I still enjoy Love Actually. I love these recommendations. There are still loads that I haven’t seen.
50 first dates is one of my all time favourite movies, especially as the main character is called Lucy. I love a good romantic story that has plenty of humour and laughs in too.
Every year come February I did into romantic movies every evening for somehow not this year. However, a few of these are my all-time favourites.
Love this list so much. We’re going to have a romantic movie marathon on Valentines Day. Definitely going to be choosing some of these. Thank you for the inspiration <3
Aw so many fab ideas here…I love Love actually and also Cinderella is a classic for the disney fans xx
I still haven’t convinced my boyfriend to watch The Notebook with me! It’s such a classic; he just doesn’t know what he’s missing out on!
Yup some very lovey-dovey films here. I think I’ve seen around half of this list x #DreamTeam
There are some goodies there. I love a good rom com. I can’t manage serious romantic drama as the brain no longer works the way it once did, but give me a soppy rom com and I am happy. I will be working my way through the list. #DreamTeam
I loved The DUFF, it had me laughing the whole time. #DreamTeam
Serendipity is our favourite. There are a few on this list that I have seen before, so must watch them sometime soon #dreamteam
