We haven’t been able to do anything this week as Little Button has been festering with that gross virus since last weekend. #PoorThing. Thank gawd she’s perked up finally. And so, with a heck of a lot of persuasion, she agreed to let me try out her ‘wedding hair’ for Uncle Buttons wedding.

Little Button did not think the finished thing looked or felt ok.
She actually really hates her hair tied low in general. And having her hair like this is the equivalent of asking her to sit on the naughty step whilst sucking sour lemons all day.
Still. I think it was a good effort all round. I’ve seen another way of doing a chignon, so I’ll try that in a week or two…. and see.
Whilst I’d personally love to let her have it down, as this is how she’s most comfortable… it must be up in a chignon style for the wedding. #SendHelpAnyone #PrettyPlease

Well I think it looks lovely, but kids always have their own ideas, don’t they?
oh what a shame, it does look so pretty. I can understand her hating though, my girls are the same. I’ve often just let them have their hair down for special occasions, with maybe a few curls. Have you tried a pretty scrunchy? There has to be something that avoids lots of hair grips. I wish you the best of luck x

I think that is a pretty awesome hair style, well done. I always practise things on my daughter and sometimes she refuses to keep still.
I think it turned out really well, I would love to be able to curate that wedding hair.

Oh it looks so lovely but no good if she’s going to be uncomfortable and unhappy with it up. I hope you can find a suitable style soon xx
