6 things to do more of in 2019

 

It’s here! We are officially in New Year’s Eve territory. And. It’s that time of the year when EVERYONE starts thinking about their New Year’s resolutions – and making their pledges too. I’m still thinking about mine *we’ve been so busy having a fab time that it’s totally slipped my mind. So instead, here are my 6 things to do more of in 2019.

 

 

Walk more

Is it a city thing? I’m not sure. But I’ve definitely noticed that we don’t do that much walking on a day-to-day basis, unless it’s a pre-planned adventure.

Eat more good stuff

Not the goodies, but the healthier variety. *I currently feel like a stuffed turkey so perhaps this will be easier than it seems.

 

 

Write more for fun

I love to write and there’s nothing better than just letting the words whoosh out – for fun – without constraints.

 

 

Sing more

We may not be the Von Trapp family (Sound of Music) but we all LOVE to sing. Our latest addition to the Button house is our new Apple HomePod meaning even more music to be discovered *and belted out across the house! Yass!

 

 

Spend more time in the places we love

We are huge fans of the coast, so 2019 is going to be the year of the beach! I’m still feeling that beach-face glow from yesterday’s trip…. start as you mean to go on I say.

    Great plans! I agree and will join you with them all (except the singing as I can only do that when I’m alone as i’m tone deaf!!)

    I totally want to start writing more for fun again, I feel I have forgotten how to. And yes be more yourself is so important. Happy new year!

    Such good ideas. I’m needing to be myself more and doing a few more adventures for me as well as the children. I’ve been so single minded on them for 11 years I’m ready for challenges!!

    Couldn’t agree more except the singing bit – nobody should have to suffer that from myself. But I definitely want to write more of what I like and to walk more and eat better.

    I think writing more is one of mine – things I actually want to write about even if no one else wants to read it! Walking more is a good one too!

    These are six great points!! I sing all the time much to the annoyance of those around me! I’m also making a conciliatory effort to walk more.

    Happy New Year!! I was nodding and smiling all the way through this post as these are all things I want to do more in 2019 too. I’ve actually got a built-in pedometer on my new phone so that encourages me to walk more, which is great 🙂
