Yesterday was electrics day for our kitchen and bathroom renovation. And, as you’ve probably guessed, we had no power! Ekk!!

By the time everything was back up and running, and I’d finished work-work, I just couldn’t keep my eyes open to write our update on the project.
Oddly enough, yesterday felt like the worst day of the renovation so far. Which is kinda weird, as the strip out of the kitchen and bathroom should have been the absolute worst part… given the huge mess.
I spent a lot of the time hiding-out upstairs and left Mr Button to relish in all the complications that crazy spaghetti electrics bring.
That, and I really didn’t want to fall down any holes!

I’m so ready to never see any electrics and pipes EVER again. But, I’m not in luck just yet, as day 3 will be more… erm… electrics. *Sighs. However, there should be some carpentry going on, which I’m really excited about.

Hehe! This week was always going to be the hardest. I think once we get to the end of next week, it will be such a relief.
