We’ve done it! We got through day 1 of the kitchen and bathroom renovation. And, whilst it was definitely a manic *panic* Monday morning trying to sort out the last little bits and doing the school run. Actually, overall, the whole thing wasn’t as wince-worthy as I thought it would be!
I would even go as far as saying I was practically horizontal! *Thanks to our building team!

If you’re considering a kitchen and bathroom renovation (at the same time), you may want to look away now, as sometimes, it’s just best not to see these things… because you really can’t un-see them!!

Today was all about stripping everything out of the kitchen and bathroom, and I’m in awe of how quickly and neatly this was done. It looks like a crazy scary mess, but everything you can see in the photos is exactly what was lurking underneath the floor tiles and behind the cupboards. Ekk!
Now.. things will only get better!

Oh no! You should have kept your eyes closed for the photos. Honestly, I think it feels tough as it’s the bathroom and kitchen both at the same time. It if was just the one area, it would be a whole lot easier. x

They did! I’ve been really impressed. Though, I’m not sure I’d call it brave doing both at the same time. Ekk! Let’s just say… I’m never doing that again.
