A mother’s Christmas wish

December 4, 2018

If you could ask Santa for anything, what would it be?

Christmas wish

A mother’s Christmas wish

Caring and sharing not just for a day.

But a whole season through, please,

well… at least until May?

Happy bright faces all smiling with cheer,

knowing that Santa will soon be right here.

Racing to get dressed, all on their own!

No fashionista’s having a moan.

Inside voices, oh what a treat.

No shrieking or squeaking,

that would be neat!

Some helpful hands, to kindly pick up,

all of those toys scattered over the rug.

The beta to step up and play their A game,

so mummy can sit,

to recharge her brain.

Much love, a big sprinkle,

now we’re ready to go.

A very merry Christmas to all,

now all we need is some…

Snow!
