Ok. I did it. I only went and bought Little Button a kids toy advent calendar. And that was after my big rant the other day about kids book advent calendars. *Ground swallow me now.
The only thing I can add in my defence is that it is a proper advent calendar with windows. Not a wrapped present in sight. With that in mind, here’s a countdown of our favourite kids toy and activity advent calendars this year.
Is this a toy or activity calendar? Not exactly. But as it has a game element to it so I think it’s allowed in this category. Test your tastebuds and reveal whether you’ve been lucky enough to find Tutti Frutti or… unlucky with moldy cheese! Haha! #Enjoy

You can never go wrong with an advent calendar that counts you down to a traditional wooden nativity scene to build. Gorgeous!
Awww now this one is really cute. Hatchimals have put together a lovely little advent stuffed full of little surprises. There’s even a little winter scene to play with too.
Little Button has very recently got into Playmobil and has the Spirit set which she adores. I’m always impressed by the quality of Playmobil and think the set within this calendar would be a great addition for the toy box.
If you have a Harry Potter fan in your house, then check this one out. Yes, it’s pretty expensive, but those little collectable figures of all the major characters in the movie are just so precious! #WantNeedWant
So this is it! OUR advent calendar for this year. Little Button is a huge fan of L.O.L. Surprise, so if there was ever going to be a toy advent calendar in the Button house this year, it was going to be this one. It comes with a doll, and the countdown reveals new fashion accessories each day. Perfect if you have a fashion easter on your hands!
