London lockdown memories – an interview with Little Button

May 23, 2020

Just a little something to look back on in a few years time. When, fingers crossed, everything will be back to a much better normal following the London lockdown.

An interview with Little Button aged 7 years old

1. What is the Coronavirus?

It’s a germ like the flu but it’s the cousin. It’s really bad and horrible.

2. Who is the prime minister?

Boris Johnson.

3. How many days have we been in lockdown?

About 1 month. *It’s actually been a lot longer than this.

4. What is mummy wearing today?

A t-shirt with a jumper and some jeans. And trainers.

5. Do you want to go back to school?

Yes.

6. Who is the first person you are going to hug when lockdown ends?

My nanny and grandad. *Me too.

7. Where is the first place you want to go?

To Yorkshire. I really want to see my Auntie because she’s a doctor. And I really want to see my uncle too.

8. What do you think we can do to get rid of the Coronavirus?

We can stay at home and make sure if we do go out we only go out for a limited time and just once.

9. Is mummy a good teacher?

Yes! *I swear I didn’t bribe her to say this.

10. If coronavirus was an animal what animal would it be?

A Marabou stork because the Coronavirus is eating people and killing them. *Gulp!

11. How did the Coronavirus start?

Someone either ate a bat or someone made it in a lab and set it free by mistake.

12. If you had to wear protective clothing to help you what would you wear?

A mask and a really protective dress and leggings. *That’s my girl!

Pin me for later
