If you’re looking for something for the littles to do this Easter, how about these very simple Easter egg wreaths. They look lovely and best of all, are an easy activity that can keep the whole family busy. You can make them as elaborate as you like, or keep them super simple and easy depending on who is joining in.
What you will need:
1. Carefully cut the middle out of the paper plates. Older children should be able to manage this themselves, but little ones will need an adults help. Don’t worry about rough edges.
2. Next, draw a mixture of different sized egg shapes onto the thick paper or card.
3. Before cutting them out, decorate them! Remember, this is a kids craft so let them go wild and think outside the box. If they use loads of glue, set aside to fully dry. We did use glue and found that pritt stick glue worked best.
4. Cut out the decorated eggs and set to one side.
5. Using the left over tissue paper, tear into strips and then stick round the paper plate ring. This adds an extra layer of colour and also hides the rough edges.
6. Glue the back of the decorated eggs and stick onto the paper plate ring to complete your Easter egg wreath.
Ta-dah! Hang anywhere you like. Simple.
