Like me, I bet many of you have already heard about Wicked Uncle. It’s a brand that’s currently buzzing all over social media because we parenting bloggers just can’t get enough of it.
Wicked Uncle makes buying children’s gifts a doddle for everyone. Whether you are a seasoned pro or gift buying newbie, a couple of clicks on their website will reveal plenty of ‘WOW’ factor stuff. You won’t easily find these cool quirky gifts on a typical shopping trip out.
Wicked Uncle is jam packed full of brilliant children’s gift. With not a dud in sight, you really can’t go wrong. Their oh-so-fabulous website is easy to use and helps you to find thoughtful gifts that are tailored around a little ones interests. Do you have an adventurer or perhaps a creative to buy for? No problem! This is how you can search for a gift for them.
Click onto the Wicked Uncle website and you will see lots of ways to search. You can filter by gender, age, category, new and popular, or a combination of these options. Or… like me you can click ‘all’ and spend hours searching through all the lovely gifts, because there really are so many!
Now I can see you are itching to go and check it out, but before you do, this is how we got on with our #Wicked Uncle Challenge.
We were given a voucher by Wicked Uncle to then pass on to someone without children or buying skills. We chose Uncle Button! *He does have great gift buying skills, but no children, so this put him at a great disadvantage.
Uncle Button was asked to use Wicked Uncle to buy a cool gift for Little Button. This was all kept top secret. Little Button didn’t have to wait for long, 2 days later a big box arrived.
Yay! As you can see Little Button was thrilled with her presents. I love how Uncle Button chose 2 science based, hands on gifts, both perfect for an inquisitive mind.
We had wanted to get our hands on a microscope for some time, but just hadn’t come across them in the shops. This one is perfect for little fingers and investigative type of play. Because it comes in one piece, it is ready to use straight from the box. It did require 3 AAA batteries for the light to work, but it can be used just as well without it if you don’t have any to hand.
I hadn’t realised it was possible to buy this. What a treat! The Live Butterfly Garden is a special habitat where you can watch your caterpillars turn from cocoons into beautiful butterflies. The set comes with a voucher that you can redeem for 5 live caterpillars. These come in a little cup house with all the food they need for the process of turning into a cocoon. You then transfer them into the habitat and wait for the magic to happen.
The proof is in the pudding… I am definitely going to think twice about trudging round the shops for a day looking for children’s gifts. Wicked Uncle has done all the hard work and created a brilliant collection ready for the picking. We also love the added extra of being able to send a gift fully gift wrapped directly to the recipient together with a hand written card.
Our final score: 10/10 (Wicked!)

I have been hearing lots about Wicked Uncle recently, I definitely need to check them out when my niece’s birthday comes around! I adore the video, I think I was a little over invested actually as it froze just when Little Button (who is SUPER cute!!) was opening the microscope and I was very impatient to find out what it was, haha.
