I love getting involved in blogger awards like this. The idea behind them is to share a little love and nominate your favourite bloggers for a particular thing. They are informal and loads of fun to join in with.
-I love blogging more than chocolate.
-My happy place is sitting on the decking of Millie’s Beach Huts with the Buttons family (probably eating fish and chips), rosy cheeked and totally beach faced, after a day of building sandcastles.
-I’m completely honoured to be the BritMums Happiness Round-up editor! Something that I could never have dreamt of happening.

What is your best piece of life advice?
Definitely to not take yourself too seriously and to just go for it! Life’s too short to keep your talents hidden from the world.
What is more important, friends or family? Why?
That’s a hard one, because family could be distant and your bestie could be your family. Can I say both can be as important as the other? It just depends on your circumstances I think.
What is the closest you have ever come to dying?
There was an OMG moment just after Little Button was born. But the amazing surgery team pulled things back in seconds.
Other than the present, what other historical period would you live in if you had to choose?
I love the Victorian era, but that’s with me looking through rose-tinted, movie watching glasses. It was tough back then being a woman, no matter what your position in society.
Did man really land on the moon?
Errrmmm doh. Of course. That wasn’t a pretend cheese moon in the background… was it??

I also think family and friends are equally important, my family are quite distant. I speak to my best friend more than I speak to my parents!
