So, I did a thing. I’ve become a… Crafty mum!
I’m 1000% sure that if any of the old blogging mum-crew are reading this, they will be rolling across the floor laughing, and will, at some point, remind me of the era of the slime (boogey) cakes:
And quite possibly the ghost (glue) light:
But… it’s official. For some reason, Craft Club Co have let me become one of their ambassadors. Yaaaayyyy and thank you SO, so much!
This year, with the help of Craft Club Co I’ve been floofing about with yarn, pillow inserts and getting to grips with needlepoint. I’ve stabbed myself in the fingers more times than I’d like to admit, and epically failed at reading proper patterns on paper, but when the patterns are printed on an item (thank you Craft Club Co for doing this!), it all suddenly makes perfect sense.
And that’s a massive part of being in the crafty mum team. It all makes sense.
After a manic day, there’s something OH SO relaxing about crafting. It’s peaceful. It’s fun. And it feels so good being able to make something for yourself. Homemade. With love.
Here’s something that I made! Woohooo!! What do you think?
Two fruity latch hook cushions, made from the craft kits that I had bought from Craft Club Co, just to try out. And I’m SO glad that I did, because even as a newbie, I could do it!
I’m only at the very beginning of my crafty mum journey, but I’d love you to join in with me!
Once stitch at a time 🙂
As I’m an ambassador, I get to share this Craft Club Co discount code with you all: ANNETTE10. If you fancy joining in with some of the craft projects, don’t forget to also keep an eye on the sales that come up, because they are epic.
I’m joining in with #Blogtober2026.
I love these they are so cute, my daughter got into a new craft last year I can not remember what it is called now but she has made some lovely bits. It is so therapeutic to switch off and concentrate on something
