I always imagined I’d have tons more time when the little got bigger, to bake all sorts of elaborate Halloween goodies from scratch. How wrong was I?! There seems to be even less time, more things to remember and much more going on.
So, in honour of fellow parents out there, who have no time, no ingredients and possibly no patience left after spending 5 hours ‘doing’ pumpkin craving… I give you a super cheat recipe for easy Oreo Halloween Cookies!

You will need:
Step 1
Carefully split your Oreo cookie in half. We found that using a knife to pry the 2 parts of the cookie apart worked best. Broken pieces can be used as decoration, so don’t worry if it goes a bit wrong. We ended up using two broken cookie bits to make bat wings *or you could just scoff the broken pieces whilst the littles aren’t looking!
Step 2
If needed, re spread the icing to patch up any holes.
Step 3
Then, let the littles go mad and decorate their Oreo – Halloween styley! Remember, there is no wrong way to do this. *Coughs, sometimes the weirdest designs, turn out to look the best!
