When life gives you lemons, eat all the cake!
We have literally had the mother of all weeks. Seriously. Everything has gone wrong.
Everything.
I don’t even know where to start. Little Buttons cherished new treehouse bed (which cost more than our own bed) has a cracked roof beam, making it dangerous for her to sleep in. We have a very, very sick pet. We have an enormous vet bill. Our car broke down at the vets. It’s going to be in the garage for a while. We have an enormous bill from the garage. Every weekend plan had to be cancelled. Everyone is too hot and very, VERY grumpy. One of our neighbours was burgled in the night. We didn’t hear a thing. I have been awake since 3am this morning. Worried. About everything.
I would cry, but when life gives you this many lemons, cake is allowed to be the answer, just this once.
