We are huge fans of L.O.L. Surprise toys. They’re cute, sassy and super collectible. I’d thought we’d seen it all. First the L.O.L. Surprise dolls. Then the pets. Giggle inducing confetti launchers. And most recently the giant fizzer. But there’s something new in town. And it’s quite different from the usual L.O.L Surprise line. Introducing the L.O.L. Surprise! Biggie Pets Eye Spy Series. *The clue is in biggie.
Naturally, even though we have never owned one before, Little Button already knew all about Biggie Pets?! And, she already had her heart set on getting M.C. Hammy from the Glee Club (the hamster) or Dollmatian from the Glam Club (the dog). Just by chance, her wish was granted and out came this!
Wait a second *you may be thinking. Aren’t L.O.L’s all about the toy being hidden in a blind bag?
That’s what I first thought too. But these are a bit different. The biggie pets are visible in their little homes from the word go. Meaning that we can’t make a boo-boo and mess up buying duplicate collectibles. With a higher price tag of £36.99 I think this is a brilliant idea. And if your little one is all about the blind bags like mine is, don’t worry, there’s plenty of those inside the box.
Once the packaging is off, you’ll find the big pet ball, handle to attach and wear-and-share accessories. Little Button was thrilled with the special eye spy glasses which she could wear to find lots of secret messages as she started to unbox her new pet. We think these are pretty cool! Especially as they turn the world pink.
The ball that M.C. Hammy comes in is reminiscent of an actual hamster ball. It’s easy to slide open to reveal your very own L.O.L. Surprise! Biggie Pet. I wasn’t sure about the size at first as it’s pretty huge in comparison to the other L.O.L. Surprise! toys. But Little Button completely fell in love with it right away, explaining that it’s her L.O.L. Surprise! dolls magical giant pet, which they ride.
We had a bit of a giggle as the blind bags are hiding inside M.C. Hammy via a little twisty lid on her bottom, As it turns out, on closer inspection, you can use L.O.L. Surprise! Biggie Pets as piggy-banks. I loved this idea! There was much pulling and tugging, but finally she popped out all 9 blind bags and the 3 little surprise boxes.
Little Button took her time opening up the blind bags to find all sorts of cute mix-and-match accessories. The 3 little surprise boxes were filled with kinetic sand, and so much fun to dig through.
Each L.O.L. Surprise! Biggie Pet comes with either 2 or 3 babies which are hidden in the surprise boxes. Little Button ended up with 2 pets and 2 food baby charms which she was very impressed with.
This little thing colour changes with heat! How cool is that.
I was a bit skeptical at first as the L.O.L. Surprise! Biggie Pets are quite big. I couldn’t see how it would be played with in the same way as the other dolls and pets. However, what do I know right?
Little Button was engrossed as soon as she got her hands on her pet. The unboxing took a lot longer to get through, which added to the initial play value in a really positive way.
And after the unboxing? True to her word, Hammy is now the magical giant pet to Little Buttons L.O.L. Surprise! doll collection. Hammy is loved so much that she takes centre stage in all the L.O.L. make believe games that are played in the Button house since her arrival. And, she even came on holiday, because Little Button refused to leave her at home.
L.O.L. Surprise! Biggie Pets are big, epic and totally get the thumbs up from us!

Oh wow what a bling little character! I keep seeing these LOL Surprise toys around and thinking about much my daughter would love one for Christmas 🙂
These are great aren’t they. The hamster looks cute. We have the puppy one. Opening them up is really good fun. The great thing is they are a good size and give lots of play time.

My daughter is 6 soon and has asked for a Lol surprise, I hadn’t seen this version before so will definitely consider it as an option. I agree, it’s better that as you are paying a bit more you can pick which one you are getting. Did you find though, like with a lot of toys, that the accessories can get lost or is there someone easy to store them?
Thanks for stopping by we have the ikea storage unit with the different depth drawers. One is solely for LOLs and all the accessories- which has worked a treat. She’s only lost an LOL necklace (tiny) so far, but that had the mishap of falling inbetween a gap in our floorboards- oops! So it wasn’t lost exactly.
These look great; I’ve never really seen an L.O.L. toy up close, so this was really interesting. I think kids love the whole unpackaging process, keeps them guessing what’s inside for a bit longer!
It seems like they have really thought about this toy. I like that you can see which one you are getting especially with the price tag. The fact that there is also kinetic sand in the surprise boxes is genious and such s different touch.

My daughter would love this. So many little ideas that kids love like the blind bags and kinetic sand. Kids love anything with lots of little things.
Oh gosh that’s going to be another thing added to my daughters birthday list. I’m not sure that she knows about these yet or she would have mentioned them. I always worry that these things aren’t worth the money but this looks good
