Make Slime with Poopsie Slime Surprise

Is your little one slime crazy too? *You’re nodding right? I don’t know what it is about slime that has Little Button grinning from ear to ear. But it happens. It could be the gloop or indeed the farting poopy noise that she seems to squeak out of it. But if there’s one thing for certain, a dollop of the stuff is going to have her in hysterics. We’ve somehow accumulated a few different versions of the stuff over the months, but what she’s really been after has been to make her own slime.

Now. I’m not one to shy away from getting my hands dirty. But, am I the only one who will admit that I don’t fancy releasing my inner geek and trying my luck with household substances to make the stuff? Nope. It’s just not happening in the Button house. So, to my complete relief and Little Buttons utter joy, Poopsie Slime Surprise has come to the rescue!

Poopsie Slime Surprise has got to be up there with the best type of slime DIY kits. Not only does it give your little one a chance to safely create their own slime. But somehow it’s turned slime making on it’s head and created the perfect collectable toy, which also comes in blind bags. Yes. blind bags!

The idea behind Poopsie Slime Surprise is that it’s a kit to make your very own unicorn poop (the slime). It’s great fun. Honest!

The kit comes in a substantial tube, which, as you start to unroll it, reveals lots of hidden surprises in those all important blind bags.

There’s also a fab collectors guide which showcases all the different unicorn poop you can collect. Little Button is trying to keep a straight face here after I accidentally blurted out ‘early bird turdz’ as seen in the top image. Opps!

There was plenty of excitement opening the blind bags, and here is what was inside.

Making the slime was surprisingly easy. Little Button was able to measure out the water required.

Add the scent. Which I’m pleased to report smelt really lovely.

Add the unicorn food, which creates the slime. And give it a good shake.

We then left it for about 20 mins to firm up, and hey presto. Slime! It was that easy. Little Button felt great, having made it herself. And I felt great, knowing that we hadn’t exposed her to a concoction of household products in attempt to recreate a homemade version of it.

We found that the collectable poop character keychain is a brilliant place to store your unicorn poop slime when it’s not being played with. It’s seals perfectly, and so far we haven’t had any spills at all.

Our overall thoughts

Brilliant! I never thought I would say this, but I absolutely love the concept of Poopsie Slime Surprise in all it’s unicorn poopie glory, just as much as Little Button does. It’s a bit naughty. A bit of a laugh. And absolutely something that Little Button would want to collect in the future.

We were sent 2 Poopsie Slime Surprise Poop packs to try out and after opening the second, we were very impressed at how different each pack was, in terms of the collectable items.

Here is the collectors cup from the second pack.

And the slime which is very noticeably a vivid and different shade to the first pack. Great isn’t it!
